BuzzBrew (the “Game”) is developed by Joaquín Cabrera, trading as SptnDev (“we”), an independent developer. This policy explains what data is processed when you play, and what your rights are.

| Data | Who collects it | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID, device and network data | Google AdMob | Serving ads (personalised or not), measurement, fraud prevention |
| Approximate location (country or city, derived from your IP address) | Google AdMob | Ad targeting and measurement |
| In-game interactions and crash diagnostics | Google AdMob and Firebase Crashlytics | Functionality, stability and bug fixing |
| Purchase status | Google Play Billing | Unlocking the purchased feature and restoring it if you reinstall |
| Play Games player ID, gamertag and avatar | Google Play Games | Achievements and cloud save — only if you sign in |
| Cloud-saved game progress and achievements | Google Play Games | Syncing your progress across your devices — only if you sign in |
| Progress saved on the device | Stays on your phone | Not sent to us or to any third party |
The Game does not request or collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera. It requests no location permission and does not access GPS: the approximate location in the table above is derived by Google AdMob from your IP address, not obtained by the Game.
If you choose to sign in, the Game uses Play Games for achievements and cloud save. Google shares your player ID, gamertag and avatar with us. With respect to your Play Games profile data, Google acts as an independent controller; see the Google Privacy Policy.
We do not use Play Games data for advertising purposes. Signing in is optional: the Game is fully playable without it, and in that case your progress is stored only on your device.
The Game shows rewarded ads — you only see one if you choose to, in exchange for a temporary boost. They are served by Google AdMob.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we ask for your consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform before serving ads. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from Settings → Privacy options inside the Game.
Who advertising data is shared with. To serve and measure ads, Google AdMob may share your advertising identifier and device and network data with its advertising partners (around 200 ad-tech companies). The consent form itself contains the complete, up-to-date list of partners, where you can accept or reject them individually. How Google uses partner data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Legitimate interests balancing test. We rely on legitimate interests only to keep the Game stable and secure and to prevent ad fraud. We consider that processing necessary (without it, fraudulent traffic cannot be detected nor crashes fixed), proportionate (limited to technical device data and crash diagnostics, with no sensitive data, no profiling by us and no automated decisions affecting you), and that it does not override your rights, since you can object at any time by writing to us and can reset or delete your advertising identifier in Android settings. You may request this assessment in writing.
The data described in the table above is transferred outside Ecuador, mainly to the United States and to the other countries where Google operates data centres.
We carry out no international transfer of our own: we run no servers and never receive your data.
We retain nothing: we run no servers and never receive your data. Each piece of data lives where listed below, and in every case you can trigger its deletion.
| Data | Where it lives | How long it is kept |
|---|---|---|
| Game progress | Your phone | Until you clear the Game’s data or uninstall it. It does not expire on its own |
| Cloud save and achievements | Your Google Account (the app’s private folder in Drive) | Until you delete them from your Play Games profile or remove the Game from your account |
| Purchase state | Google Play | For as long as your account exists: it is what lets you restore the purchase if you reinstall |
| Crash reports (error diagnostics) | Firebase Crashlytics (Google) | 90 days from the moment the fault is recorded. That is the retention period Crashlytics applies, after which they are deleted automatically |
| Advertising identifier and technical data | Google and its advertising partners | Under Google’s own policies, set by Google and not by us. You can cut it off at any time by resetting or deleting the identifier in Android Settings → Google → Ads |
If you write to us to exercise your rights, we keep that email for as long as needed to answer you and to show that we did, and no longer than one year after we close the request.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to the processing of and port your data, under Ecuador’s Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, UK GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA — including opting out of the “sale or sharing” of personal information.
Write to sptndev@gmail.com and we will respond within the period required by the applicable law.
How to delete your data yourself:
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may complain to Ecuador’s Superintendency of Personal Data Protection or to the supervisory authority in your country.
The Game is intended for adults aged 18 and over: that is the only age group declared in Google Play’s target-audience questionnaire. It is not directed to children or teenagers and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
Even so, Google Play does not block downloads for people who have not declared their age, so a minor could still install it. That is why the Game asks for no personal data in order to play — no name, no email, no age, no account — and is fully playable without signing in: whoever installs it hands us no identifying information at all.
If you believe a minor has given us data, write to sptndev@gmail.com and we will delete it, along with any associated data within our reach.
None of these permissions is used to collect personal data, and you can disable notifications from Android settings.
We apply reasonable measures: communications with Google services are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). No system is infallible, but because we operate no servers of our own the exposure surface is minimal.
Some of the Game’s art and music was generated with AI tools under a licence that permits commercial use. This does not involve processing any of your personal data.
If we update it, we will publish the new version at this same address with its date. If the change is material, we will announce it inside the Game. Continued use means you accept the current version.
